The central foodcourt is part of a large transformation project covering all hospitality zones within the central area of the Rabobank Headquarters in Utrecht.

For this assignment with a significant sustainability challenge we designed a broad range of spaces creating a careful mix of re-used and new elements.

Each area with it’s own identity but reflecting the Rabobank core values.

Rabobank Foodcourt

Central Hall

Every day, around 7000 Rabobank employees go to lunch at the same time in the central hall and surrounding areas…

Our goal was to make this area an attractive place to stay, also outside of peak hours.

Between the existing iconic round pavilions we added a variety of seating elements and mixed new, old and refurbished furniture.

With a new lay-out and clear signing we optimized the routing, overview and logistics in this area

The foodcourt offers a wide range of food and drinks at the self-service counters but also facilitates those who bring their own meal…

Throughout the day, the area offers both open and more secluded areas for small and large groups

Just around the corner the the co-work area is situated with the typical Rabo color palet and client portraits from the ‘Rabo&Co’ magazine
