Meeder Ontwerpers is a design studio for interior architecture based in Amsterdam.

It was founded in 2001 by Roos Meeder.

Throughout the decades the studio has been able to develop very broadly and built a reliable network. For each project a team is put together with experts who specialize in a particular field, tailored to the size and objective of the assignment.

Collaborations with other studio’s and designers are a valuable part of the business philosophy as they generate flexibility, continuity and evolution.

Our Mentality

As ‘beauty’ and ‘taste’ are malleable concepts we seek for relevance and designs that can stand the test of time.

We aim for personal, smart, multi-layered, one-off designs that reflect and support the particular identity of our client.

By carefully combining the program of requirements with different characteristics like for example site specific historical, architectural or cultural features we create unique spaces.

Clear gestures, careful choice in materials, and eye for detail make a powerful place that tells it’s own story.

We have broad experience and expertise in the field of re-use, circularity and sustainable solutions.

We are curious by nature, continuously learning about new techniques, materials and applications.

Our idea of durability and sustainability is about taking responsibility in the choices we make, sharing the knowledge with our clients to help them make the right decisions within the given possibilities and always aiming for high quality.
